This is my first attempt at spark plug inspection.
I have a Lycoming O-320 E3D engine. Today, I have removed the top four spark plugs (top both sides) and have not touched the bottom four yet. Three of these cylinders have Champion REM40E plugs, and one cylinder has a Champion REM37BY. Is there a reason for a different plug in that one cylinder?
A little over 100 hours ago I had all four cylinders replaced with chromed overhauled ones. I have noticed in my log book that all new spark plugs were replaced at the same time as the cylinders
The cylinder with the different plug is the back one on the pilots side. If this is deliberate, can I also expect similar results on the bottom>
