I’ve got a 1970 PA28-180 with the O-360-A4A, the Bendix mags have about 150 hrs on them, but the previous owner didn’t replace the harnesses on them when replaced.

One of the “cigarette ends” that screws into the spark plug bound up and the plug wire broke while twisting off. The ferrule broke after trying to reattach after cutting wire back which tells me it was cracked in first place, so I’m looking I too scrounge up used parts for replacement or put in a new set. The wires external shielding is all frayed and chaffed so my mechanic recommends we look for new ones and get it over with. I agree.

I’ve researched some other board and some recommend “Maggie Ignition wires” there are a few others I’ve seen mentioned, my mechanic recommends finding a set with 90 degree ends.

Anyone have recommendations are ideas?
