I noticed in the logs of this aircraft that a valve stuck and the cylinder was pulled and repaired. So what could have caused it?

The bottom line is spark plug resistance is the culprit. I have pulled many plugs from service because of this. They may look okay but they are causing problems and eventually major engine problems are caused by internally corroded spark plugs. Time is the enemy……..

A good read and a simple multi-meter check will reveal if there is a problem
