My left cowl cable broke. Like to diagnose it before the shop gets to it so I can get the parts on order.

Both left cowls move relatively freely and are sync'ed up so it's not the torque tube between them. The cable seems intact inside the engine compartment.

It appears you inspect the cowl level/cable attachment point by removing a panel on the bottom of the aircraft? That question and any thoughts you all might have would be appreciated.
