We've got some great threads here on what human survival gear you should carry in your plane, but what about survival gear for the plane?
I'd like to assemble a little box-o-tricks to keep in the baggage compartment of my Cherokee - nothing too heavy & not carrying a whole shop with me - just stuff that might get me out of a jam of I'm far from home - what do you guys carry routinely?
My thoughts:
I routinely fly with a multitool in the co-pilot map pocket which gives me pliers, screwdriver, & cutters, and I have the maintenance manual on my iPad (the magic of technology )
What else do you guys routinely carry that I'm forgetting?

My thoughts:
- A quart of oil
(obviously) - Spare lamps
(landing light, position lights) - Window cleaning supplies
(cloth & plexus, for getting bugs off.) - A spare note pad
(because running out of paper and having to write on the back of the fuel receipt makes me feel dumb)
