My airplane had a new interior installed in 2012: carpet, side panels, seats redone, but the belts were not changed. Along with them being black and not matching the interior, their condition is what I'd call below average and there is a bit of fraying in places. I'd like to install new ones.
What's a good source for purchasing new belts and buckles? Lap belts look pretty straightforward to swap, will my mechanic need some time to do the retractable shoulder harnesses? Airplane is an '80 Archer. Thanks.
