Hi all, I'm a relatively new cherokee owner and have a couple questions about the gross weight.

I have an early model cherokee with an original gross weight of 1950 lbs. At some point the prop was re-pitched to 58 and back seats installed and thereby qualified for the increase to 2150 lbs (as per note 6 of the TCDS).

I recently replaced the prop and asked the prop shop for a 'replacement' prop. They quoted me for a prop pitched to 60 and being a new owner didn't really think about it at the time and had it installed. Now that I've been reading the TCDS it seems I am back to a gross weight of 1950 lbs?

Now to make things interesting, the engine was upgraded to 160 hp at it's last overhaul with the Art Mattson STC which states 'standard prop pitch becomes 60'. Does this mean my gross weight is 2150 if I have this STC?

Thanks!

PS, I already emailed Art a few days ago but haven't heard anything.
