I have a 1969 Cherokee 180. In the 3 years I have owned it, it has never been stored outside until the last 2 nights when I was at an airport that didn't have any temporary space available. Last night there was a pretty bad storm. High winds, lots of rain, etc. The carpet in both the front and back was damp this morning, not real wet, just lightly damp. I am assuming the rain came through the wing vents because they were not closed. I did remove the carpet in the front and will put a blower on the carpet in the back tomorrow to dry it out. The question is: what do others do about this? Is there a plug or cover that is made to put over the wing vents? Is there another possibility that water is getting in from someplace else?

Any help will be appreciated.
