Hello fellow pipers!

New here, been looking around for answers and have yet to find any, looking to see if you guys might have some insight. I have owned a PA-23-250 N1036L for a few years now, just had a pair of GI275 put in instead of the 6 pack and I love it. Autopilot isn't working with the ADI, even though I was told it would by Garmin rep, but that is an issue for another day.

I found the front cargo compartment carpet soaked this morning, after looking at the seals, they need to be changed. However, my question is: Are these installed backwards? Shouldn't the air gap be towards the inside of the plane, not towards the outside?

Also, any idea what I should replace it with? New type of seal that is better? If not, where to find the original seal?

Thanks!
