I was planning to buy a Seneca but am very close to a Cessna 310 instead. Operation and maintenance costs are a factor. The 310 is going to drink more fuel. Otherwise, I'm wondering what the cost of maintaining the Seneca would be compared to the 310. Primarily the overhaul cost. I can overhaul the 310 NA engines for around $27,000. Also, I will probably get a lot more hours out of the 470. What is the cost for the Seneca's engine overhaul. And, what kind of cost can I expect related to the Turbo?
