I have a brand spanking new prop hanging on the front of my Arrow!

The mechanic called me Friday evening to let me know my new prop had been installed and the plane was ready to fly this weekend. I stopped by this evening to plug in the engine heater so it'll be warm tomorrow morning and found the prop blades still wrapped their protective cardboard and plastic packaging. Unless this was reinstalled so I could act like a kid at xmas unwrapping my presents, it appears the engine was not run after the new prop was installed.

Should this concern me?

There is a new McCauley Propeller manual in the front seat of the plane, but I was cold and tired and didn't think to grab it before leaving. I'll read through it in the morning before doing anything else, of course, but I thought I'd see what folk here know. Aside from unwrapping the blades and doing a leak check and oil top-up after the initial runup, does a new propeller require sort of break-in procedure like an engine?

Edited to add: This is a constant-speed prop, and the same make and model it replaced.
