Hello, I have a 1963 Piper Cherokee 180B - when I picked her up, the prop looked really cool - painted aluminum - but my mechanic says this is a problem because it could mask corrosion. So far, it's been dressed and looks to be in great shape, however, I am looking to eventually replace it. Any recommendations on how to do that? IE, used, or refurbished? It's a Sensenich 76EMM - I believe they are now called the 76EM8? Is it best just to get a new prop from Sensenich? The prop currently has about 1300 hours on it. Thanks in advance!
