Hello,
After 39 years from the time I got my PPL, I finally was able to buy an airplane! 1979 Piper Turbo Dakota. There were 91 built and my serial number is 19. She's a beauty. Totally re-done in 2007. New paint (the old paint was yellow and green yuck), new interior, new avionics, and an overhauled Continental TSIO-360-FB. It currently has 2250 hours on the airframe and 660 hours SMOH. I've put 100 hours on her since June 14th including a trip to Florida and back (from Indianapolis). In January, she's getting two Garmin G5's, GAMInjectors, and an JPI EDM 830.
I look forward to using this forum!
