Looking at my first aircraft - 1976 Warrior - equipped with Garmin 430 (not certain if its WAAS or not - just queried the owner). TT ~6600, ~550 SFOH. Annual due 8/14
1. With my Garmin road GPS I do quarterly updates I download to my computer. With Garmin aviation GPS how are updates done?
2. I have ~100 hours total time, all but ~30 hours is in Warriors. What should I expect for insurance? Is AOPA my best bet for starting out?
3. Anyone know a good and reasonably priced IA that can do a pre-buy/annual in the mid-atlantic area? Aircraft is currently based in WV.
