During my annual, we discovered one of my gap seals is rubbing on the aileron metal. Damage is minimal as of now, but there is a good chafe history there. I bought a new roll of tape from Knots2U and am ready to go with this. No instructions included. I understand how tape works, so its probably fairly simple. I assume I stick it to the gap seal. Clean up with mineral spirits first. Any other tricks? How many pieces and at what length should I cut? Might be difficult to line up a full aileron width piece of tape. Perhaps cut it in 1 foot segments and abut them together until the full span is covered?
