Been looking at aileron gap seals. Seems to be 3 available for PA28. Laminar Flow, Knots2U and Plane Dynamix (Art Mattson). Laminar and Knots2U both use aluminum coverings to seal the larger opening on the bottom of the wing. The Art Mattson seal uses a thick 3M tape on the top of the wing to seal the smaller aileron gap at the pivot point of the hinges.
Are they similar in results? Wouldn't the bottom be better due to the larger gap? Which is best?
