Aileron gap seals rubbing paint off

It was discovered during my annual that my aileron gap seals, which are metal, are rubbing against the ailerons. A lot of paint missing and a good amount of scuffing on ailerons as a result. I need to devise a way to make that seal slip on and off the aileron as it moves with no further damage to the aileron sheet metal.
