Flying to Alaska

Last summer I got to fly from Billings, MT to Anchorage in a friends King Air and stay for a week. It was awesome and I’d love to take my wife there. We’ve flown to Billings the last two summers from our southern Indiana home in our NA Arrow to visit her brother. Next summer I’d love to make the Billings trip and then fly on up to Alaska. Has anyone done a trip of this magnitude in an aircraft similar to mine? If so I’d love to hear some of the route information and logistics.
