Since we have a good thread on landing speeds, I would like to get input on shortfield take-offs.

From what I see in the POH, It appears that 25 degrees of flaps is best for short field takeoff and then remove the flaps as soon as Vx (best angle of climb) speed is obtained. I am reading that that slow flap removal should be done before passing obstacle as long as Vx is achieved. Breaking ground and departing ground effect speeds should also be adjusted for weight to acheive best performance.

Thanks
