I'm wondering if any are flying their Aztec at Carson's speed?

http://www.aopa.org/members/files/pilot/2010/december/technique.html

Lacking best glide, I've been using Vy (120mph)... which works out to about 158 mph indicated (CAS). This also seems to be the spot my bird ends up 2100/24" at 18gph LOP.... about 45-50% power.

The interesting thing is most aircraft end up at Carson's speed at higher percentage of power... in the case of my PA32, Carson's speed was about 138 indicated which took 60-65% power. The Aztec has a reputation as a gas hog but it appears the reason is it is overpowered.
