It has been a lot of talk lately how the pilot(s) were not familiar with the auto thrust system etc, etc, etc.
Personally what I don't understand is how did the pilots did not realize that the aircraft was too slow.
Obviously flying a small single engine plane and a 777 are 2 different things but the fundamentals are the same.
If you fly your plane slow and dirty the aircraft will stall if you are below the stall speed period. Did these pilots missed the first class of basic aerodynamics?
So what was that these pilots were thinking? I don't get it. Can you please someone, anyone shed some light into this. I just don't get it.
