AeroCruze 100 Install in Piper Arrow

Well the AC100 install has started. First order of business was to remove the Autocontrol IIIb and the Stec 30 Alt autopilots. Here is a pic of all the stuff removed for those 2 autopilots. The current weight of the box is 41 pounds!

Since there were 2 autopilots installed, there were 2 of everything. The Aspen interface required 2 of all of the components needed to drive the APs.

It is really amazing how much technology has simplified equipment installs. At this rate the Arrow will lose about 30 pounds.
