For many years I have used Microsoft WORD for all the many things I write, including, sometimes, Piper Forum. If you never see a spelling error it's because of the spell checker.
However, Microsoft has totally destroyed WORD with many "updates" so that it no longer resembles what I knew how to use. Sometimes it won't let me edit what I have written. Sometimes it won't print. Options such as margins, font type, color, size are hard to use. It wants to store everything in the "cloud" where it is hard to find. And, it takes ages to boot up, which was not the case before.

So I have looked around for a replacement. GOOGLE DOCS looks almost exactly like old WORD. And it is free. It comes up instantly. I put it in as a bookmark.

I do use Chrome (a Google product) as my browser, and maybe that's why it works so well.
