Hi Comanche gang. FYI the Northeast Comanche Tribe is hosting a series of Zoom meetings. Here's the announcement for tonight's (already starting, sorry)

ComancheZOOM socially distant fly-in Thursday, May 28, at 7:30PM EDT (opens at
7:00PM EDT, 23:00Z)

Kristin Winter on "Falling Off Your Log". Logbooks can easily control 30% to
50% of your airplane’s value. Learn how to keep them up to snuff.

Kristin Winter is a well-known A&P/IA, CFIAIM/ATP. She will discuss the
owner's obligations to maintain aircraft maintenance records; what constitutes
a proper logbook entry, and the mechanic's obligations for documenting their
word; maintaining an AD compliance sheet, protecting your maintenance records;
and what documents must be kept in the aircraft. Kristin flies her Twin
Comanche, hosts the Airworthy Comanche Forum on Delphi, flies professionally,
instructs, and provides purchasing and operations consulting.

The meeting opens at 7:00 PM ET for pre-session hangar flying. Informal
introductions start around 7:15. Please use Mute unless you are talking to the
group. After the meeting begins, the CHAT box is used to pose questions. For
those attending by phone, please text questions to 617-816-8766. Moderator CJ
Stumpf will pose the questions as Pete Morse records the session.

Signing up:

We have ample Zoom capacity, but it would help us greatly if you could fill in
the optional faux fly-in form so we have some idea of how many to expect. If
enough register so that we can see ahead of time that we will need more space,
we will upgrade the Zoom account to the next level, and possibly pass the hat
to help defray costs.

Next Comanche Zooms planned can be found at
http://www.quietcornerbands.org/Flight/ICS-NE/ComancheZOOM.htm
Comanche Zooms will occur weekly at 7:30PM ET (doors always open at 7pm, come
meet your fellow Comanche drivers and hangar fly!) for at least the next 2
months. Recordings will be available if presenter allows. Stay tuned!

Guidelines:

* Each webinar is open to all and can be attended by dial-up using any
phone, or by web browser, or by ZOOM app.
* The meeting opens at 7:00pm ET to give plenty of time to get connected and
shoot the breeze with your fellow aviators, or to get your snacks ready.
* The formal portion will start at 7:30pm EDT sharp.
* Q&A will follow (please type your questions into the CHAT window, or text
them to 617-816-8766 if you are dialed in). If the Q&A runs over, and you
need to leave, the meeting will be recorded, and a link will be
available.
* Again, this is informational, but also a fun get together, and we will
take questions, help people out, or compare fuel prices in the new era of
$8/barrel oil, until we get tired or run out of questions or stories.
* Bring your drink of choice, we don’t fly home from this one!

To attend:

To attend, you can dial in from your home phone, connect with video or even
just audio from your iPad or smartphone or computer, and we will have people
standing by to help you if you don’t know how. The most functionality is
with the Zoom app, and to attend by browser you will need a free Zoom account,
but you can also just dial in to the conference using one of the numbers
below, enter the meeting ID followed by #, and then hit # when it asks for
your ID. You won’t have video if you dial in, but you’ll be in! Details
below, under Meeting Link
