Just bought a ‘76 Lance and love it so far. As I figure things out and work through some squawks I’m finding a few puzzlers. The pilot’s seat is not vertically adjustable. The copilot seat has an extra cylinder and spring that seem to be a vertical adjustment, but I can’t figure out how it works. There is a silver cable running from the spring up to another fitting. Sorry for the poor photo, but how does it work? The cable runs from the round item in the top-left of the photo down to the spring in the mid-right of the photo.
