Hello all,

I'm looking at a twin comanche I'm interested in buying, but turns out the plane has hail damage and got written off by the insurance company a few years ago. It doesn't look too bad, and the mechanic has signed it out for 3 annuals, so it doesn't seem to be a safety issue.

I'm wondering though how hail damage would affect the performance of the plane? Has anyone experience with this? They are a very efficient wing, so part of me thinks that damage would have a significant effect on fuel burn.

Kind regards,
