Probably have 200 hrs since injectors have been out during a cylinder change. Had a flight last night that had an engine hiccup (fuel flow drop, RPM and MP drop) and then immediate recovery. Then it happened a few more times even after a tank switch and electric fuel pump switched on. Returned to home field and during the return flight for the last 15 minutes there was not a single issue. Potential for a stuck injector or two here, or possibly something in the fuel that has passed thru?
Ignition system is in excellent condition with clean plugs, new wires, so no suspected issues here.
Prop governor is leaking oil on every flight now and will be replaced this week. Was considering if possible internal issue in governor creating a quick "feather" condition that is the fuel flow, rpm and MP fluctuation, but think that may be unlikely as it engine seemed to hiccup (skip a beat just like my heart did when the engine did) as opposed to bog like I figure a prop governor RPM change would cause.
Going to check fuel system on Monday, maybe pull and clean injectors, get new governor on and go for a flight and check it out.
