Got just under 300 hrs on my PPL, with about 50 of cross country. A few mountain landings at around 3,000 to 4,000 MSL. Thinking about flying from my home base at KSCK to Tahoe for grins and giggles. It's only a 45 min flight. I've taken my Archer up to 15,000 feet no problem, and a straight route would fly over 9300' peaks at the highest.

Other than DA, Altitude effects on takeoff/climbout, and mixture I should worry about?
