So while my Arrow is in for my avionics update, I’m having them run the power wire for a Surefly SIM4P to replace my left Bendix impulsed coupled mag.

Per Surefly’s installation manual, I will need to Change the left harness to a “Slick Style” harness.

Okay, so I get that, but why can’t we just retrofit the existing harness with a “Slick Style” cap?

My harness is only a couple years old and in very good condition. Seems that would be more cost effective and easier to do.

I cannot find a part number for a Slick cap, but I have reached out to Surefly for that info.

Any thoughts?

Dave
