This is through the inspection panel under the wing just outside the gear.. how big of a problem is this? My mechanic says just to keep an eye on it over time. It's probably been there since before I bought the plane a year and a half ago. Looking down the wing, you can't detect it on top. Underneath, you can see a slight ripple in the skin if you look close. If it does need repair, what's the general approach? A doubler?
