Clarification on how these work in the Seneca please:
These are used for engine start. What actually happens when the boost pump is on? Ie, is the standby boost pump acting like a primer - Ie, feeding fuel into the injectors continually until it’s turned off? So the longer the pump is on…the more fuel that is accumulating until the engine catches?
Or,
Does the boost pump (despite making constant noise) only feed fuel in concert with the engine cranking?
