Piper Seneca II, Serial Number 34-7670325 & previous.
I observed the rod (which pulls the main landing gear door closed) scrubbing on the bolthead as it passes by during each retraction and extension cycle. The bolt is for the sidebrace to main gear housing attachment. The opposite side gear door closure rod is bent at the rod end, I don't know if that happened when the gear was cycled or not.
The later serial numbered airplanes have a different rod assembly with an additional spacer bushing at the strut housing. This newer rod clears the bolt head by almost a 1/4".
