I've had an issue with small oscillations during gnd steering. I'm being told it may be caused by worn nose gear trunnion bushings.

My last mechanic said he adjusted the nose gear steering cam assy as far forward as possible, but there is still a small gap between the cams and the 2 bushings on the nose gear steering arm. With the nose gear off the gnd, there is a very small amt of rocking mvmt of the gear front to back.

My current mechanic is suggesting I get the nose gear overhauled, but before I do, I was wondering if there was anything else I should check? Has anyone else had this problem, and did overhauling solve it?
