I went in to renew my medical so I can get current on flying again. Found out after the exam that they bumped the requirement out to 5 years now, so I had 2 years left on my class 3 medical certificate. :? When did that happen?
The doc offered to just not charge me, but I figured he had already done the exam, I may as well reset the clock. He gave me a discount anyways. I guess when you haven't been flying in a while it is good to do a review of the regs. I am reading up but I hadn't gotten to that part yet. :mrgreen:
