We were at Green Bay (Class C) today for a little shopping. On takeoff, I retracted the gear, and
felt a "klunk". Not bad, just a thump.
The tower calls and says on of my mains is hanging. I stayed in the pattern, and worked on the problem.

When extending the gear, I got no lock light on the left main, and it was the one that wouldn't retract.
I elected to attempt a landing, and they rolled the emergency trucks.

I landed as gently a I could, and the gear held. I slowly taxied back to the FBO.
On inspection, the piece that attches the gear acuator to the gear was broken.
This also locks the gear, so I had landed with an unlocked main gear.

Guess I dodged one today.

Regards
Jim
