Can some one give me TAS at 7 or 8K with power setting at 65% (22in map 2400rpm) or so. The best I get is 148kts with 26 gpm. Also ROC on standard day at 1000 ft or so. best I see is 900FPM. We've checked every thing and can't figure why the airplane is slow and won't climb very well. Can barely get over 10000 ft. Compressions good, fuel flow correct , mags timed properly, props are correct, rpm on takeoff correct, tachs check ok, cowl flaps closed, nothing hanging down on jacks during retract test. Airplane flys straight and not out of trim. We have boots and VG's but that might cost 2 or 3 kts at best. I used to fly air taxi years ago and remember good performance. Also piper POH shows much better performance. Airplane is normally aspirated.
