Hey all!
This was my first event after buying the Cherokee and I had a great time. Great people, great event, possibly the nicest grass strip in the US.

Maybe a bunch of us can go a make a strong Piper presence!

OK, Sun ‘n Fun and Oshkosh are in the rearview mirror and you’re just itching to go somewhere different, somewhere where aircraft manufacturers, military flight teams, air show performers and vendors aren’t the focus….YOU are! Somewhere where you have room to spread out, enjoy your friends and their airplanes, maybe fish or hike or just enjoy Fun, Fellowship and Hospitality thru great dinners, incredible camping facilities and the very best 7,000 foot long grass runway. Well, the time is growing near for the eighth annual Triple Tree Fly-In and you’re invited!!

For 2014, Triple Tree is better than ever. We’ve added fifteen additional acres of cleared camping sites. These sites are located between the lower bath house facility and the Enoree River. They are heavily shaded and offer the ideal camp sites. Grass was planted early in the year and, in spite of the dry summer, the grass is doing great.

Additionally, later in the year, we added twenty eight premium sites that have water and 30 amp. electrical hookups. These sites are near a new pond with bridges. We have just planted grass and hope to have it up by the time of the Fly-In but their ideal location (directly behind the lower bath house) and utility hookup makes these campsites really something special. These reserved sites (the only reserved sites at Triple Tree) will go on-sale soon for $500 for the week. When you reserve these sites, you can come as early as Monday to set up your camper then go back and get your plane! The sale date will be announced both on-line and via a direct mail to all pilots registered via the Triple Tree website (www.tripletreeaerodrome.com) and will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Next, we have a new dinner event planned for this year. The crowd favorite cook-your-own steak night moves from Friday evening to Thursday evening. On Friday evening, a new dinner event, “A Taste of Triple Tree” will provide our guests with fifteen separate tables each hosting a different local specialty. This will be a great time to try individual portions of fried okra, pork tenderloin, deep fried turkey, southern fried chicken or many other local specialties! It’s also going to be a great time to visit with old and new friends.

Saturday night will once again see the “world famous” Triple Tree BBQ. This event features the very best on-site smoked pork, chicken and boiled shrimp served up with baked beans, slaw and a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie! Just so you’ll know, at previous events we served a thousand guests in under 25 minutes while the big band played on!

As usual, the Triple Tree runway will be in unbelievable condition. The staff and volunteers are working overtime to make sure you enjoy your stay and go home raving about another great Triple Tree event.
Please, go to our website and preregister. It will help shorten the registration lines and get you out, on the grounds, sooner so you can begin to enjoy Triple Tree, the home of “Fun, Fellowship and Hospitality”!

One last note, pilots please check for important information concerning changes to out arrival procedures and refueling availability on the website under “Pilot Alert”.

We anxiously await your arrival for another fabulous Triple Tree Fly-In!
