Looking at a 1965 150C/160 with original Sensenich prop M74DM-58 at 3300 TTAF. Cannot find anywhere in the logs where it had been IRAN'ed, overhauled or replaced since new. Engine has 1300SMOH.

I would have imagined it should have at least been properly re-pitched to 60 when the Art 160HP STC on the engine was completed in 2000. I believe it is still set to 58 which may help with climb but probably robbing the cruise side.

Going to have it checked out, but on the fence with the overhaul.
Thoughts? Is there a true SPOH time for these fixed pitch metal blades?

Thanks in advance.
