Hello All

I recently bought a 1968 PA28-180. Great craft that flies really well.

I have a small patch on my left-hand airleron that is giving the local a&p some pause and concern. The patch has obviously been there a long time and it is well done, but he does not know if it is kosher and if it will pass annual inspection.

I've searched through the maintenance logbooks and I can find no record of it so I don't really know what to think.

So has anyone ever seen something like this? Is this ok? Would it pass an annual inspection? What course of action would you recommend?

Regards
Russ
