Been planning a new panel for a Cherokee 6 and was originally considering putting an iPad mini in portrait mode in an AirGizmo angled dock built into the panel. I have read that Apple is discontinuing the iPad mini so I think I need to find an alternate tablet for Foreflight/IFD100 Avidyne apps. The iPad mini (latest model) I have is already not the snappiest responder to some apps and inevitably one is forced to update software and it will just become more and more laggy.

Does anyone have a panel mount 9.7" iPad solution? I'm not talking about a suction cup or anything like a yoke mount but rather would prefer an angled landscape mode built into the panel solution. The iPad would go on the co-pilot stack which will be totally clear- in fact I will only have the single pilot stack.
