Considerations
I have always wanted an (E)HSI with bearing pointers in the plane. A digital PFD with speed tapes thrown in, would be very nice as well, very at home with these.
The Garmin 430W (Garmin 430 "plain" is now done) has a service life of maybe 7 more years (parts), but, currently, it still has a good trade-in value.
The DG will likely need to be replaced soon (hours), the GNC250 and KNS80, though still quite capable, are 20 years old.
ADS-B is coming, well, some day.

Submitted the proposal for a quote, it came back a bit high, but what else is new.
A bit pensive, but pretty excited, and close to pulling the trigger.
Any comments or advice?
