Plane is in annual now and last item that needs to be finished is the fuel valve inspection per Piper Manual special inspection ( It's unfortunately the old valve model ).

Many APs tell not to do it until the selector is hard to rotate, because it can create more harm than good (leaks).

Your thoughts ? (The side panel is already off, just have to drain the fuel from the tanks and opening). What do you do usually ?
