We're starting conversion of a 1977 PA-28-161 to the Continental CD 155 engine. The aircraft will be completely disassembled with all systems IRAN done as well as fuselage stripped, corrosion proofed and painted. New interior and windows and new panel to be added. We'll be posting pictures as work progresses. We'll keep you informed on progress, costs and results through flight testing after completion for those who might be interested in a similar program in the future.
We've previously converted two (2) C 172 aircraft with the DC 135 engine, but this will be our first Piper and our first CD 155 engine. We expect great performance for this machine.
I hope everyone in the forum has a good year and wish all safe flying for 2016.
