I purchased my first airplane in June (a 76 PA 28 151with a 180hp upgrade) and so far so good. several little squawks but nothing major. My latest issue is brakes. My parking brake has suddenly gone soft but my toe brakes dont seem any different. They were never the stiffest brakes in the world but pretty similar to the other cherokees I have trained in. I checked the firewall resovoir and it was low.

Do I have an air bubble between my tow brakes and parking brake possibly? Would this allow the toe brakes to operate normaly with a dead parking brake? Will this eventualy casue my toe brakes to follow suit and go soft? I could not find any fluid leaks.

Thanks

Ron
