I rebuilt my Cherokee 235 magnetos by Aircraft Magneto Service in Montana. They told me that I had very old magnets gears (see photo) and needed to replace them. The latest version, according to Lycoming, is LW-19096. I have had no luck buying used gears, and new ones are north of $1000. Any suggestions from the forum?
