I'm looking at swapping my run out A3A with a low- to mid-time A4A. I would then get rid of the hollow crank AD and rpm restriction. What other parts changes and paperwork is involved in such a swap? What do I need to do if the new engine has got an alternator when my current one has got a generator? Anyone got a low time A4A sitting around the hangar? Any advice appreciated if you have input on this, thanks.
