I am in the process of having LFS Speedpants as well as the nose wheel strut fairing installed on my Cherokee 180. I have read somewhere that one must "dam up" the nose wheel fairing in order for it to be effective. I don't really understand what this entails and want to be able to tell my A&P what needs to be done so that it is effective.

Any advice?
