I just bought a new engine driven fuel pump for my 1964 Cherokee 180 (not the electrical one). The newer fuel pumps are a bit taller and the overflow/vent line is in a different spot. The new pump appears to fit just fine, but the cooling shroud does not fit at all. I can't seem to find a shroud that will fit. Should I just ask my mechanic to modify the current shroud? Or is there a replacement option?
