My tach has been "floating" at about 2200rpm for quite some time. I lubed the cable no change so I figure the magnet is just weak (45yr old). I was going to send it off but a new Mitchel Tach costs about the same. Then I was all set to order one but after talking to Spruce, they said they are still waiting on deliveries from last summer! Now before I send it off just wanted to ask if anyone has used the P-1000 Digital Tach? Its about $300 more so that gives me pause. Is it worth the extra $ for an old 140? Or is there another TSO Tach I havent heard of? Thanks in advance for any info. Rich
