I know what P/N I should have but what's in there now is different, for lower S/N 180's.

My logs show that the engine mount/strut was replaced with FACTORY new, back in 1975. No P/N listed.

My IPC shows I should have a J-9613-40. Records show someone installed J-7402-24 at some point.

Physically, I have I rubber mounts with a J-7401-?? stamped on each half of the rubbers. I assume this is drawing No.'s for each half of the assembly of a J-7402-24.

Would Piper have given the previous owners an older version mount? Which obviously fits, but has smaller Isolator mounts? (current)

The J-9613-40 are twice the size!!

Unfortunately my engine mount is out for NDT/Paint. I somehow doubt the Larger isolator will fit. (assuming they installed the incorrect isolator)

My S/N is 28-5755.

Any help is appreciated.
